Mangaweka Rail Crossing

Project Overview: Replacement rail crossing at Mangaweka Rail Crossing, SH1, Mangaweka. Machine operation and a lot of labour in confined work areas. Worked with KiwiRail on site with a tight timeframe of works on SH1.

Works

Remove and reconstruct new railway crossing on busy crossing including:

  • Construct temporary road

  • Divert traffic

  • Remove track set, excavate to grade, back fill, place ballast and grade to finished levels

  • Assist in placing tracksets

  • Reinstate temporary road
