Project Overview: Earthworks, drainage and roading for new subdivision in Otaki.  Work in sand and peat.

Interesting Points

  • 11,000 m3 cut to fill

  • 10,000 m3 topsoil strip, stockpile, and respread

  • 5,300 m3 building site excavations

  • 2,127 m2 subgrade preparation & Asphalt sealing

  • Construction of permanent lake, which acted as the main silt control for the job.

  • Live sewer to contend with and maintain
