Kaitoke to Te Marua Realignment
Project Overview: 5km of State Highway 2 realignment. New alignment crossing existing highway several times. Retaining wall construction with Geogrid retaining, Gabion basket walls, vertical concrete block wall, interlocking concrete panel walls. Drainage included with large diameter culvert pipes down live streams. Drainage on very steep grades with unusual change of direction bends.
