Waterfall Road Slip Repair

Project Overview: Bulk earthworks to remove slip above Waterfall Road as it was a hazard. Extremely steep site required experienced operators. Once the top of the slip was cut off operators accessed site by a steep access track from Waterfall Road. Slip started 50m above the road below. Close cooperation between client, landowner and Goodmans to ensure the works met the requirements of the parties. Waterfall Road had been closed for a number of months prior to the works being confirmed. There was a stream of cultural significance adjacent to the road and bunding on the edge of the road was installed to protect the stream from material fall in.
